On October 11, 2024, the Sara’s Daughters Gala, a signature event for domestic violence awareness, marked an incredible 13 years of service. This year’s gala was their biggest yet, as attendees came together to honor the organization’s unwavering dedication to supporting women and children impacted by domestic violence. The funds raised from this milestone event will help Sara’s Daughters continue their life-changing work, providing much-needed resources for victims and their families in the community.
The highlight of the evening included a special recognition of Dorie Gandy, Co-Founder of Girls Love Tech, who was awarded for her commitment and dedication to this vital cause. Her involvement in uplifting and empowering women, both through Girls Love Tech and in her support of Sara’s Daughters, is a shining example of leadership and advocacy.
Sara’s Daughters remains steadfast in its mission to equip clients with counseling, education, professional training, advocacy, and case management. Their holistic approach offers not only hope but also healing and restoration, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives. The evening truly embodied the spirit of encouragement and support that drives the organization forward.
We at Girls Love Tech are proud to support such a meaningful cause, and we celebrate the success of this remarkable event and the continued work of Sara’s Daughters.
