Hygiene Access Initiative

Reimagining Hygiene Access with Technology, Education, and Wellness.

Empowering Every Student to Succeed – Join Us in Making Hygiene Accessible!

The Hygiene Program: Empowering Students
One Care package At a Time

Program Overview
Our Hygiene Program provides students with discreet and convenient access to free or affordable essential products, fostering confidence, well-being, and a sense of pride in their school experience

Our Approach

Focused on underserved communities, the program bridges gaps in access to essential hygiene resources, promoting physical well-being and boosting self-esteem. By integrating this initiative into the school environment, we strive to establish a scalable and sustainable model that empowers students, enhances their confidence, and cultivates a nurturing and supportive community.

A Holistic Approach
to Student Wellness

Why We Created This Initiative

For students to thrive academically, they need to feel confident and cared for. Studies show that lack of access to hygiene products leads to:

  • Missed school days due to embarrassment or discomfort.

  • Lower self-esteem and confidence issues.

  • Limited access to opportunities that require strong personal presentation.

  • Through this initiative, we are delivering dignity and empowerment—one kit at a time.

Who We Serve

  • Students in Need at the Middle School and Public High Schools in Jersey City (expansion planned as funding grows).

  • Schools that lack funding for hygiene support programs.

  • Community groups that partner with us to extend resources.

Mission

To empower underserved girls—especially those entering puberty—with access to hygiene products, STEM education, and mentorship, so they can thrive in confidence, health, and academic success.

Vision

A world where every girl, regardless of background, has the resources, education, and support she needs to lead with confidence, embrace her potential, and shape the future through wellness and technology.

How it works

We collaborate with schools, donors, community partners and volunteers to distribute hygiene kits every quarter to students in need.

1️⃣ Schools enroll students by signing up for the program.

2️⃣ Students receive kits directly at their home, school, or an Amazon drop box.

3️⃣ Sponsors & donors help fund and supply hygiene products.

4️⃣ Volunteers assist in packaging and distribution efforts.

🚀 New This Year: Students can now order kits using our AI-powered chatbot, making access faster and more convenient!

🗓️ Coming Soon: Ordering opens April 15th! Get on the list now to be among the first to receive a kit.

Why This Matters

The lack of access to basic hygiene products isn’t just a problem in Jersey Cityit’s a nationwide issue that affects millions of students in underserved communities.

Statistics that illustrate the broader impact of hygiene on student outcomes:

  • 1 in 5 students in the U.S. struggle to afford basic hygiene products, which can lead to embarrassment, bullying, and absenteeism.

  • 20% of students who lack access to hygiene products report skipping school or avoiding social activities because they feel self-conscious.

  • Studies show that students who have regular access to hygiene products report an increased attendance rate by as much as 7%.

  • Schools that implemented hygiene programs saw a 20% increase in student participation in extracurricular activities and classroom engagement.

  • Access to basic hygiene has been linked to a 12% improvement in student confidence, which contributes directly to their academic performance and social well-being.

  • Poor hygiene access has been linked to higher levels of anxiety and depression among students, impacting their mental health, focus, and ability to participate fully in school life
