GLT at Black Minority Student Day W/BAM MSFT: Empowering the Next Generation of STEM Leaders

Feb 18th, 2023, Girlz Love Tech (GLT) was honored to be one of the vendors at this year’s Minority Student Day, which hosted over 300 students from local schools across the Tri-State area. These schools, serving mostly minority and marginalized communities, often lack the resources to prepare students for careers in technology-driven fields like those at Microsoft or in STEM.

Through engaging career panels, hands-on STEM workshops, and personalized mentorship from Microsoft professionals, we aimed to inspire students to explore opportunities in STEM. Our involvement helps encourage students to pursue careers that can lead to breakthroughs in fields like medical research, technology, and artificial intelligence, shaping the future for everyone.
