Food Bank

Capital Food Bank Volunteer Experience

On October 18, 2024, I had the opportunity to support my community at the Capital Food Bank by wrapping and organizing canned goods, preparing food bundles, and ensuring everything was ready for distribution to families in need. With a box in hand and a shared mission, I worked alongside a dedicated team to make a tangible impact. This experience reminded me that even small actions can collectively combat food insecurity and bring hope to those who need it most. It was a fulfilling day of service and a powerful testament to the strength of community support.

Service Day

Howard University's Day of Service

On Aug 16, 2024, I had the privilege of creating a dedicated play area for homeless children, addressing the vital need for joy and safety in their lives. By organizing activities and curating a welcoming environment, we provided moments of happiness and connection for these vulnerable children. This experience reinforced my commitment to fostering inclusion and normalcy in underserved communities, contributing to meaningful change and supporting those in need. It was an inspiring day that highlighted the power of compassion and collective action.

Sport Medicine Club

At Howard University, I am an active member of the Sports Medicine Club, a platform that connects me with peers who share my passion for healthcare and athletic performance. Through this club, I explore the dynamic intersection of medicine and sports, participate in hands-on activities, and gain invaluable insights from professionals in the field. This enriching experience not only deepens my knowledge but also fosters a strong sense of community with like-minded individuals, supporting my journey toward a career in healthcare.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Lash and Brow Business

I discovered my passion for the beauty industry during high school while pursuing certification in advanced lash and brow techniques at Eye Candy Lash Bar in Jersey City, NJ. Combining my love for STEM and creativity, I am developing a scientifically formulated eyelash and brow serum to address common beauty challenges. As a college student, I plan to launch and manage "Brooklyn Brow Girl" as a side hustle, offering innovative lash and brow services while continuing to explore ways to merge science and beauty. My goal is to redefine standards in the industry through innovation and technical expertise.

Dream. Learn. Elevate.

Through every activity I engage in—whether volunteering, leading workshops, or supporting my community—I stay true to my journey as a Howard University student aspiring to become a doctor. These experiences help me learn, grow, and elevate myself and others, turning dreams into reality and making a lasting impact.
